The problem of Female Hair Loss And Hormones is quite common among middle-aged women. It is very necessary to find out the cause behind the loss quickly, so that a fruitful preventive measure can be taken fast. Contemporary women are mostly working persons, and it would be very embarrassing for them if they start losing hair from a very early age.

Genetics

A woman is likely to lose hair, if her mother or father had these problems of thinning hair or baldhead. Genetics can be one of the causes behind such troubles.

Menopause

One of the major causes behind female hair loss is the lack of hormones or the excess of it. Behind such hair loss, a predominant reason is Menopause. During the menopause women produce a large amount of Estrogen. Estrogen is a hormone, which acts as a protection from Testosterone, which women also produce.

After the age of forty, menopause starts. During this changed condition the production of Estrogen slows down. At this time Testosterone is formed without any obstacle. It gets combined with another hormone called Alpha Reductase. This chemical reaction produces an element called DHT, which causes hair loss.

Hysterectomy

Hysterectomy can also be a reason behind the problem of hair loss among women. It is a similar cause as Menopause. When women face the problem of Hysterectomy, the production of hormones gets stopped. In a severe situation, the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes get affected as well.
